"I Was Pained, I Didn’t Sleep For One Week” -Seun Kuti On Being Snubbed From Davido’s Wedding

Nigerian singer, Anikulapo Kuti popularly known Seun Kuti has opened up on how he felt about not being invited to Afrobeats superstar Davido’s wedding.

Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ooni of Ife, Obasanjo, Governor Sanwo-Olu, Obaseki, Otti, were among numerous dignitaries that attended Davido’s wedding to his wife, Chioma Rowland, on June 25, 2024.

Seun Kuti expressed how he felt hurt after being left off the guest list, the wedding that practically shook the city of Lagos.

Featuring in a recent episode of ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Kuti disclosed that he couldn’t sleep for a week after Davido snubbed him for his wedding invitees.

“Davido would come to the African Shrine with 100 guys, and he would drink without paying, but when it was time for his wedding, I didn’t get IV.

"I was pained, I didn’t sleep for one week,” he said
