Natasha Receives Death Threats Amid 2Baba Family Drama
Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has publicly addressed escalating family interference in his personal life, particularly his marriage to his current wife, Natasha Osawaru Idibia.
In a viral video, 2Baba revealed that Natasha is receiving death threats amid the controversy, which he attributes to actions by his family members.
He emphasized his autonomy as an adult, stating, "I am a grown man, and believe I have the right to be with whoever I want to be with," while accusing his family of previously sabotaging his marriage to ex-wife Annie Macaulay-Idibia in similar ways.

2Baba's family filed a petition with the Inspector General of Police, accusing his wife Natasha of several serious offenses. The allegations include, Physical attacks on 2Baba in Nigeria and the UK, unauthorized transfers from 2Baba's bank accounts and withholding his passport, Natasha allegedly wasn't legally divorced from a previous marriage when she married 2Baba and concerns over Natasha's substance abuse and its impact on 2Baba's well-being.
The family has requested police intervention to investigate these claims, recover 2Baba's travel documents, and address reputational damage to the singer. This petition follows reports of a heated altercation in the UK that allegedly led to 2Baba's brief arrest, as well as a chaotic Instagram Live session hosted by Daddy Freeze on December 2, where 2Baba's former managers (Kaka Igbokwe and Lori Tosan) accused Natasha of exerting "undue control" over his finances and career. The live ended abruptly with an on-camera argument between 2Baba and Natasha.
