Omah Lay Involved In Car Accident With His Tesla Trucks

Nigerian singer Omah Lay was involved in a serious car accident in Lagos on Saturday, May 18, 2025, involving his two Tesla trucks.

Fortunately, he escaped unhurt, although the vehicles sustained significant damage. The accident occurred under unclear circumstances, with some speculating that another vehicle crashed into Omah Lay's convoy.

The singer's management team has not yet released an official statement regarding the incident.

Adesope Olajide, a well-known UK-based music executive also known as 'Shopsydoo', shared news of Omah Lay's car accident on Instagram on Saturday evening.

Sharing the video of the accident, he wrote “#omahlay Tesla truck, thank God for life. Thank God he is safe, we go buy two more once that album drops. More stories to tell”.
