Senate Unseals Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan's Office, Paves Way for Return
The National Assembly has unsealed the office of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, located in Suite 2.05 of the Senate Wing. This development, which occurred on September 23, 2025, potentially paves the way for her return to the Red Chamber when plenary resumes on October 7, 2025.
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended for six months in March 2025 over alleged misconduct after protesting the reassignment of her seat by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The suspension barred her from participating in Senate activities, and her office was sealed.
Despite the suspension ending in September 2025, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan faced resistance from the Senate leadership, hindering her return to legislative duties.

The Deputy Director of the Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji, carried out the unsealing, declaring, "To unseal Senator Natasha Akpoti's office, I, Alabi Adedeji, Deputy Director, Sergeant-at-Arms, hereby unseal the office."
This move grants Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan access to her office and the National Assembly premises.
The Deputy Director of the Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji, carried out the unsealing, declaring, "To unseal Senator Natasha Akpoti's office, I, Alabi Adedeji, Deputy Director, Sergeant-at-Arms, hereby unseal the office."
This move grants Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan access to her office and the National Assembly premises.
