Pastor Adeboye’s Wife Dumps Expensive Gold in Lagos Lagoon for Christ

Pastor (Mrs.) Foluke Adeboye (often called Mummy GO), the wife of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently shared what she did the moment she became a born-again Christian.

Foluke Adeboye revealed that this was a personal sacrifice for her faith, as she felt that wearing such items was discouraged in her church, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

According to her, she had a strong love for fashion and had accumulated a lot of gold items, including pieces she had prepared for her young child. But after joining RCCG, she chose to dispose of them rather than keep or sell them.

Her mother-in-law's friend even questioned her decision, suggesting she could have given the valuables to her mother to sell, but Foluke stood by her conviction, responding firmly, "Whatever is not good for me is not good for my mother."

She expressed no regrets, stating she has "sold her life" to Christ and doesn't miss the material things.
