"Post The Body" - Phyna's Shocking Demand To Blessing CEO After Son's Death Stirs Reactions

Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has sparked outrage online after reacting to reports that controversial relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, lost her second son while in custody.

Blessing CEO, who has been remanded in Kirikiri Prison for over a month over pending court cases, reportedly lost her son Bryan to an asthma attack. The news was first announced on Friday by Amira Agiye, CEO of Isaamira Love Foundation, who claimed she was appealing for public donations with Blessing CEO's consent.

Blessing CEO later confirmed the loss in a voice note, but distanced herself from the fundraising. 

"I didn't give anyone consent to solicit funds on my behalf, and I'm in the best position to break the news about my son's passing," she said in a phone call with actress Doris Ogala.

Shortly after the news broke, Phyna took to social media in a viral video to question the authenticity of the report, citing Blessing CEO's history of controversial claims.

In her words,

"Blessing CEO, how do you want us to believe you lost your child? How can we sympathise with you? You will need to post the dead body. I can't waste my condolences. This is why it is not good to lie too much."

The comment has divided the internet. While some users agreed that Blessing CEO has lost public trust due to past stunts, many slammed Phyna for being insensitive and demanding proof of a child's death.

This is not the first clash between both personalities. In 2024, Blessing CEO had mocked Phyna over a rented wig controversy, while Phyna recently called out Blessing CEO for telling her to stop ranting online over her late sister's case involving Dangote truck.

Reacting to the same tragedy, actress Nkechi Blessing also threw shade, saying Blessing CEO who "doesn't respect the dead" is now asking to go pay her last respects.

As of press time, Blessing CEO remains in custody awaiting perfection of her bail conditions, while her son's burial arrangements are yet to be announced.
