The actress took to her Instagram page to clear the air. She posted a video, she said the reason behind the nudity was to pass a message, an artistic impression. Not pornography!
Akuapem said that she is an artist and as such the post she appeared nude is artistic impression, "You all know I am an artist, and anything I post on my page is a message out there. As an artist whatever I post is an artistic impression. I always try to send a message out there as a mother, am not posting porn."
The actress who said she always take her bath together with her son in a bathhouse, said she doesn't do and can't do porn with her son.
She said she was trying to send message to people who don't regard their parents especially mothes and the way they should regard their mother's nakedness.
"What I want to say is that my trying to send a message to kids, children and even grown up people who don't regard their parents especially mothers. Some people will see their parents outside there naked even mad, because they are naked, will run away and will not take care of their parents. They won't clothe them. What I am saying is no matter how nakedful you see your parents don't run away from them. Get close to them and clothe them. That was what I was trying to say.
"Nakedness doesn't mean the person is top less or whatever, someone can expose someone that means the person is naked. That is what I was trying to send out there. Because I am an artist, so what I was posting out there was not porn.
"But all the same, I want to say that, am sorry if I hate or anyone got hate with my posting this morning. It was not bad intention was just trying to send a message out there."
