Toke Makinwa reveals she works hard because she loves expensive things

Popular Nigerian and entrepreneur Toke Makinwa has revealed in a social media post that she is allergic to being broke. She also said that she is hard-working because she likes expensive things.

She wrote, "I work hard as I do cos I like expensive shit, my tastebuds bougie AF and I'm allergic to being broke."

Recall that the socialite cleared the air about how she makes her money, she also set the record straight on her brand and business. She discloses she gets paid for appearing at events.

She wrote,

"90℅ of the time you see my pretty face out at an event, I got paid to be there, I have worked so hard over the years to build a bankable brand. It's not been easy and it definitely ain't free."

In another post, she added,

"I'm not in business to convince anyone or prove anything to anyone, it's not my job to bring you over to the light. I focus on building, reinventing, sustaining and fine-tuning myself."
