'Stop Forming When You Arrive Your Village Be Local' - Kanayo O. Kanayo Advises

 

Nigerian actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has shown that after all, he is still a man that honours tradition. He has advised people going traveling to their hometown to be real when they get there instead of showing off. It's not uncommon that at this time of the year that people from travel from different parts of the country and world to be with their love ones as such come with different ways of doing things.

He took to his Instagram page to show how things are done in the Igbo community. Sharing a video, the actor who is from Mbaise, Imo State demonstrated how to drink soup. In the video, sitting down with some people, KOK drank soup from the plate and said that's how it should be done.

He stated that on getting to the village, people should drink soup from a plate, instead of proving they are Lagos and Abuja big boys. Talking about when you get to Rome behave like the Romans.

"Stop forming when you arrive your village, be local."

"This is how we drink soup from our communities. Don’t tell me you are a Lagos big boy or Abuja big boy, we drink soup from a plate.”

It's a double celebration for the thespian has he finally completed his mansion in Imo state,  he shared the video on his Instagram page and he also  bagged a chieftaincy title 'Ihe Mbaise Ji Ka Mba’ in his hometown, Mbaise, Imo state on Wednesday, December 29.
