"Amala Is Disgusting" - Dorcas Shola-Fapson Says

Actress Dorcas Shola-Fapson is not one to shy away from saying how she feels about a matter. In a recent post on social media, she expressed her thoughts on one of  Nigeria’s local food, native to the Yoruba ethnic group, Amala (it is made from dried yam blended into flour).

She disclosed that Amala is disgusting and stands to be corrected. And doesn't even care who prepared.

She wrote,

Amala is disgusting. I don’t care who made it. Argue with your tongue."

Some days ago, the presenter revealed how her father made her to hate her mother when growing up.

“My mum and dad went to the UK after they got married because my mum’s family sent them there and when I turned two, my mum got deported because obviously, they didn’t have their papers."

“My dad managed to get away somehow and he kept hustling. Looking back now, I can understand as an adult but then my dad kept us away from my mum, we didn’t have any contact with her.

"He told me that she left us. Obviously, he’s not going to tell us that she was deported because we were too young to understand.

He basically told us she didn’t love us or cared about us that she left us. I grew up hating my mum and I believe he did it because he was hurt. So I understand now as an adult.”
