"I Feel Like My Most Authentic Self" - Adesua Etomi Finally Opens Up After Being Dragged Over Her Dressing

 




Award winning Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi Wellington has revealed the reason behind her latest look. The simplicity of rocking what her ancestors wore with pride.

The movie star said she feels like her real self when she wears braids, plaits or when she wears her hair out. She's actually keeping it simple.

This is coming shortly after she was dragged over her outfit to filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba’s wedding ceremony. She showed up at the event with naturally weaved hair (cornrows) and a simple net-like kimono dress.

The mother of one disclosed in an interview that she's representing those girls that rock cornrows, the ones people called "Too Simple".

"I've been wearing cornrows a lot lately on purpose. I feel like my most authentic self when i wear braids, plaits or when I wear my hair out. If you’ve followed me closely, you’d know what I mean. You’d know this isn’t new."

"In general, I believe in keeping it simple. Whether it’s from my clothes, to my hair, to my lifestyle.
