Kaffy Advises People To Learn A Lesson From Her Failed Marriage

 

Nigerian dancer and choreographer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, also known as Kaffy has revealed that she has chosen to stop reacting to life and start living it. More so, people should learn from her story.

The dance instructor also stated that life is like a movie which could be a comedy, thriller, romance and so on. She expressed that the actor is nevertheless given the power to navigate through and chose which ending he or she desires. As for her, she chooses to start living.

“Life is a journey," she stated.

"Hmmm 4 words packed and pregnant with so much , like a movie with drama, action, comedy, thriller , romance, war, adventure, fantasy, history with so many layers of plot twists that only the scriptwriter and director (BABA GOD) knows the possible endings but the actor is given power to navigate through and chose which ending he or she desires.

"I chose to stop reacting to life and start living it. Not through Anyones eyes but through that which God has laid in my path."

"We learn from stories , I hope you learn from mine!”

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the choreographer opened up about her crashed marriage to Joseph Ameh, which she said was due to infidelity. She revealed that he slept with both strangers and her best friends.

"If I had known I won’t have jumped into that fire, I thought he was just sleeping with strangers but I found out he was sleeping with my best friends, people I knew…I was thinking at the beginning that I had found someone to completely make me happy but that was selfish thinking, no human being should be your source of happiness."

"When you see him, you will think he can’t even hurt a fly cos he is always calm, and he has now made me afraid of calm people cos hmm, inside he is. I held him in high regard until I had to ask him why he was treating me the way he was. I asked him, what do you have against me, that is making you sleep around and with my best friends."
