'Somebody’s Son' Is A Song About Jesus Not Relationship – Tiwa Savage

 

  

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwatope Savage better known as Tiwa Savage has claimed her hit song, 'Somebody’s Son', is a song about Jesus, not a relationship song.

Tiwa made this known in a viral video recorded during a performance.

The singer disclosed that she was told the song wouldn't be a hit, people claimed only women would listen to the song. However she told doubters that both the male and female will relate to the song perfectly.

"They said this song would not be a hit because only females will listen to it. Men are not going to sing Somebody’s son," she revealed.

“But you know when I wrote this song, I was not thinking about a relationship but Jesus Christ because he’s the real somebody’s son.

“So I said to doubters that people will relate to this song whether you’re a man or woman because we all need somebody’s son.

While performing her hit song, ‘Somebody’s Son’ in Chicagobon Tiwa spoke about her love life, saying she is done having relationships with f*ck guys, they broke her heart several times.

"I am done with f#ck boys in my life. I don chop breakfast. They have broken my hearts plenty times. They have said a lot of shit about me plenty times and I am still doing good”.
