Only Thing Missing In Nigeria Is The Right Leaders - Davido

Popular Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke also known as Davido has disclosed that Nigerian lack the right leaders to steer the country in the right direction.

Davido stated that what's holding the country back is the absence of visionary leadership.

According to him, Nigerians possess a remarkable ability to thrive and adapt in the face of adversity, but lack the right leaders to move the country forward.

He believes that if Nigeria can get things right, they will become unstoppable. He emphasized that once the country overcomes its challenges, it will be unstoppable.

“I tell people, if you can survive in Nigeria, you can survive anywhere.” 

“I just feel the only thing missing is the right leaders to guide us.

“Once we get that right, I believe there’s nothing that can stop us.”

Recall that in recent interview with a U.S. radio station, Davido sparked controversy after warning Africans in the diaspora not to come back to home.

“Leave America and go where? Go back where? It's not cool back home. My country now, the economy is in shambles. ’The exchange rate is messed up. A lot of stuff not going well. The economy is not just good anymore. The pil prices are too high. Imagine a country that produces oil. We produce the oil and we paying more money for oil than a country that imports the oil.”
