“May God Punish Anyone Who Benefited From Nigeria’s Pain” – Bolanle Ninalowo Lays Heavy Curse on Leaders Eating Nigeria’s Resources

Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has sparked reactions online after laying a heavy prayer against leaders and individuals he says have enriched themselves from Nigeria’s suffering.

The star took to Instagram on Monday with a blunt message that’s has resonated with many.

“May God punish anyone who has benefited from Nigerian resources at the expense of people’s pain.”

Ninalowo didn’t name names, but his post came amid renewed public frustration over fuel prices, naira devaluation, and reports of lawmakers’ allowances. The actor shared the message on his Story alongside a clip of gridlocked Lagos traffic and black smoke from generators.

“People can’t feed. Hospitals are empty. Schools are broken. Yet some people are flying private jets with our sweat. God is watching,” he added in a follow-up slide.

The post has drawn thousands of comments within hours. 

“A prayer we can all say amen to,” one fan wrote. Another said, “Nino no dey fear anybody. Say it louder.”

Some users cautioned that “prayer without action no go change Nigeria,” while others asked celebrities to run for office if they’re that passionate.
