The 65-year-old actor got candid in a recent interview, sharing one of the most romantic gestures he’s ever made for his wife, Jumobi Adegbesan, and how he’s managed to stay looking young after decades in the spotlight.

RMD revealed that one of the most memorable moments in his marriage was giving Jumobi his first major paycheck.

Speaking on the Morayo Show, RMD said the grandest way he’s ever shown his wife love was handing her his biggest career cheque. According to him, romance isn’t just about flowers and chocolate anymore.

“The first time I had the biggest cheque I’ve ever had in my life, I had like a 100m cheque. So I said, Give it to my wife. When she got it, she said, ‘You want me to keep it for your children?’ So I said, ‘No, keep it for yourself ‘.
