“Please Don’t Let Me Die” — Veteran Actress Ngozi Nwosu Cries Out, Seeks Financial Support Amid Health Battle

 

Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made an emotional appeal to Nigerians for help as she battles an undisclosed ailment.

Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a video from the hospital where she tearfully disclosed her long battle with the illness and the need for three surgeries worth ₦30 million.

In the video that has since gone viral, the 61-year-old star broke down in tears and pleaded, “Please don’t let me die.”

Ngozi Nwosu, known for her roles in Living in Bondage, Fuji House of Commotion, and Skinny Girl in Transit, appeared frail in the clip as she spoke about her health struggles.

“My fans, friends, family, and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can’t keep quiet anymore. I need urgent lifesaving surgeries.

She revealed that she has been dealing with a serious health condition and can no longer afford the cost of treatment on her own. The actress asked well-wishers, colleagues, and fans to come to her aid so she can get proper medical care.

“I’ve given my life to entertaining people for over 30 years. Today I’m asking, please help me. Please don’t let me die,”she said tearfully.

Some of her colleagues have also called for urgent support, urging the Actors Guild of Nigeria and kind-hearted Nigerians to assist the veteran.

Ngozi Nwosu is one of Nollywood’s most respected actresses. With a career spanning over three decades, she has become a household name for her comic timing and motherly roles.

This is not the first time the actress has faced health challenges. In 2012, she underwent a kidney transplant in the UK after battling a kidney-related illness.
