DSS Reportedly Invites Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage Over Political Comments Made Against The Administration Of Buhari

Nigerian music producer Michael Ajereh aka Don Jazzy and Tiwatope Savage popularly known as Tiwa Savage, Nigerian singer, were invited by the Department of State Service for questioning over alleged political comments against President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

Recently, the cases of rape has been on the rise especially against the female and this has been a cause for concern to some of the celebrities, who have called out to the administration of Buhari to do something about it.

This made Tiwa Savage to start a movement called "WeAreTired" in protest of the situation. Through the movement, Savage called on Buhari's administration to curb the problem. With her posts on social media, this made the artist to be invited by the DSS and warned against posting any political words.

Don Jazzy was also invited to the DSS office in Lagos two weeks ago during which he was warned against using his social media to post things that will affect the Buhari's administration.

Likewise, two other celebrities, Yemi Alade and Waje were also summoned by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Zubairu Muazu and warned and also to be careful with their political comments.

An anonymous member of Savage management team who confirmed the development said the artist cannot be stopped speaking for Nigerians regardless of any move by the government.

It possible that the warning issued by the DSS has been adhered to by Don Jazzy and Tiwa Savage because both of them have toned down their social media post recently after the meeting with the DSS and police in Lagos State.
