Nigerians Raise 4.2 Million Naira To Buy Prosthetic Leg For #EndSARS Protester

 

Jane Obiene, an amputee, one of protester the #endSARS in Abuja has caught the attention of a lot of people for her encourage to come out for the protest. A lot of people have described her as their hero. 

For her effort and courage, a photo went viral and it was decided that she should be helped by buying her a prosthetic leg, not only that, a means of livelihood.

In about 15 minutes the sum of more than half a million naira was raised for Jane Obiene. In less than 4 hours, 3.2 million naira was raised. The initial plan was to raise 500 thousand naira having 30 days in mind but got more than they planned for. 4.2 million naira has been raised in a matter of minutes.
