Seun Kuti Blames World Bank And Nigerian Government For Destroying The Country's Economy

Seun Kuti the youngest son of Afrobeat icon Fela Kuti, took to his handle to react to the news that World Bank wants to support Nigeria. World Bank Group said it will work with Nigerian  government to strengthen the health and education sector. 

The President, World Bank Group, David Malpass made this announcement during a press briefing at the 2020 annual general meeting on Thursday.

The Afrobeat singer said Nigeria doesn't need the assistance of World Bank in the area of health and education  because together with some Nigerian rulers, they destroyed the country's economy.

He wrote, 

"World Bank to support Nigeria's health, education sectors _ we no need una support we know who World Bank and IMF B, Na una wit half of our rulers destroy our contri and economy no more imperialists, oppressors and downpressors #Endoppression Aluta."
