Wizkid Changes Name To Big Wiz

 

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly called Wizkid born July 16, 1990  is one of the biggest artist in Nigeria. The artist has decided to change his name from Wizkid to Big Wiz. 

December 2019, the artist made it known that after "Made In Lagos" he will change his. Wizkid has finally changed his name. This recent development  on his official Instagram page has a subtle message and the artist has proven to the world that he's no longer the youngster who started yesterday but a force to be reckoned with.

The Grammy award winning artist started recording music at the age of 11. Wizkid has contributed a lot to Nigerian music and has made a lot of achievement in the industry. In February, 2014, he became the first Nigerian singer to have more than one million followers on Twitter, first afrobeat artist to appear in the 2018 Guinness World Records for his contribution to "One Dance", in 2019, he was featured in Beyonce's "Brown Skin Girl", which won him a Grammy Award For Best Music Video.
