Nigerian Afropop singer Yemi Eberechi Alade, popularly  known as Yemi Alade has made it known that she would prefer to remain single than for a man to take her for granted.

Alade took to her Instagram page and a shared a lovely photo captioned "Better single than taken for granted", which has captured the attention of her fans who marvelled at the man that took her for granted and believes that he must be mad.

Few days ago the Award-winning artist took to her verified Instagram page to share a video of herself and her mother whom she gifted a brand new car on the occasion of her birthday with a written  heartfelt emotional message to celebrate her birthday.

The message read, “I’m so thankful that you chose me, birthed me, nurtured me ,love me, bless me, tolerate me.. Understand me, guide me.

“I just want to shower you with love and praises for as long as God is on the throne in our lives. Happy birthday Mummy @helenmamaafrica.” (sic)
