"This Hajia Status Is Now Sweeting Me" - Mercy Aigbe Confesses

 

Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has revealed that she has fallen in love with her new identity, which makes her feel good. She expressed how she feels about her new name, a Muslim name Minnah.

She wrote,

"Ok I must confess this Hajia status is now sweeting me."

"My family Fans y'all have a lot to teach me ok

"Cos with this my New Muslim I'm considering.

"Hajia Minnah baby girl for life."

The film star revealed her newly adopted Muslim name some days to fans as she posted series of photos and videos, with their way of dressing.

The Nigerian movie star before the announcement of her marriage on her social media platforms, officially announced her Muslim name to be Minnah as she converted to the religion. She made this announcement on her 44th birthday.

Sharing a photo of herself, in a lovely outfit, she wrote,

"And she shall be called MINNAH……."

Recently, the thespian unveiled her new lover, popular filmmaker, Kazim Adeoti, on his birthday, January 24, which set the internet on fire with many attacking her verbally on social media.

The actress and her new husband had a private wedding ceremony in Lagos on new year’s eve and broke the news of their marriage on Sunday on Instagram.

The 44-year-old actress revealed during a telephone conversation with a TVC talk show host, Morayo Afolabi-Brown why she married her new husband.

“I spoke to her (Mercy) last night, she called me to correct an impression and that it is wrong for us to say, ‘how can she go and marry her ex-husband’s best friend.’ She said they were never friends.

They only attended an event where her present husband, a marketer in the industry, invited her to his birthday party, which she had attended in her ex-husband’s company.

“She told me that the man is a Muslim, he’s entitled to more than one wife, so yes, he has issues with the first wife, and he is now married to her as the second wife and as a second wife, doesn’t she deserve to be happy? ”
