Toke Makinwa Says She Is Eager To Find Love Again

 

Popular Nigerian radio presenter, Toke Makinwa has bared her heart to her fans about her heart desire in this new year, 2022. The lifestyle enterpreneur hopes to find love again! It's the dream of most young women to be in their husband's house. For it to happen they must find love first.

According to the TV host, somebody's son must find her this year. She isn't letting go, she must find love in 2022.

Toke Makinwa on 15 January, 2014 married Maje Ayida whom she had been involved with him for eight years prior to their marriage. In 2015, a year later she separated from her husband after discovering that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend. Makinwa's marriage came to an end on 5 October 2017, the marriage was dissolved by a Lagos High Court on the grounds that Ayida committed adultery.

The vlogger shared how she came to know about her divorce on social media, “I went to bed one way and I woke up the other. When it broke out in the media, I was sleeping.”  

"I was at work the next day because that was the only thing I knew how to do. I knew I had to carry on because I needed the cash. I had to work because I did not want to be broke. I knew that if I was going to leave this marriage, I was not going to leave with a trust fund. So, I needed to work my ass off to make sure that at least getting a place, I could afford it."
