Comedian AY Makun Discloses Why He’s Not On Talking Terms With Basketmouth
Comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY has revealed why he and Nigerian comedian and entertainer, Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth don't talk. He explained that for his mental health he has to avoid his colleague's unceasing childishness.
He disclosed this in a Question and Answer session on his Instagram when a follower asked if AY has a problem with Basketmouth. AY replied that he doesn't have issues with his colleague.

AY wrote, "I don't have any issue with him. But people having unnecessary issues with you are the price you sometimes pay for being progressive. He has been battling for his uncontrollable SUPERIORITY COMPLEX for the longest time. So avoiding his incessant childishness only became necessary for my own sanity"
In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu last year, Basketmouth revealed that AY snitched on him to his lawyer.
He said, “I’d have stayed where the competition is.
“I still do standup comedy, but not with great energy because I’m targeting all-around entertainment now.
“My competition is me.
“There’s nothing (like a feud) between AY and I.
“He came in my space, messed with loyalty by saying something to my lawyer, Magnus, that I told him in private.
“It was nothing, but it was enough to cause a rift and have me put up the walls.
“We made peace and he apologised.
“I have no single problem with AY as claimed.
“We don’t talk.”
