Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu, has openly shown her blatant act of defiance for the newly adopted national anthem, 'Nigeria We Hail Thee' when she refused to stand up for the recitation at an event.
In a video she shared on her X handle, with the caption #NotMyNationalAnthem Aisha Yesufu sat down on her chair while the new national anthem was been sang.
In the video, as she remained unconcerned, flipping through a book as if the old national anthem has nothing to do with her, while other stood in honor and sang.
