Veteran actor Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello has revealed why he won't leave properties to his children.
Oga Bello explained in a recent Nigerian Tribune interview that he's not leaving properties for his children because he prioritized giving them a valuable education instead. As a father of 18, he chose to focus on their educational development over accumulating wealth for them.
“I don’t want to leave any properties for my children. I just need two houses, one in Lagos and one in my hometown. If you meet any money in my account, share it. I’m passionate about education.”

The actor, made it known that lack of parental support during his education has influenced his parenting approach.
“Even if it’s just a first degree, I wanted all my children to be educated.”
He explained that one parenting approach that worked for him was to tell his children they couldn't follow him to the industry unless they performed well in school.
“I didn’t bring or force them to the industry. Whenever I was going for rehearsals and they wanted to follow, I would say no, except they had good results in school. That made them work hard, he added.
