How Nigerian Village Boys Kidnapped a Corpse and Begged for Transport Money

A man from the United States traveled to Nigeria to bury his deceased father, but the funeral was disrupted when a group of local youths kidnapped the body.

The group of youths demanded a ransom of $200,000 for the return of the body, but the man refused to pay. After several days, the kidnappers started pleading, claiming it had been a joke.

The kidnappers called to request a small payment for 'logistics', offering to return the coffin to any location he chose. They urged him, arguing that denying his late father a proper burial would be disrespectful.

Days passed, and the kidnappers began begging that it was a prank. Over the phone, they pleaded for a small amount for ‘logistics’ and offered to return the coffin anywhere he wanted, persuading him that it wouldn’t be nice of him not give his late father a befitting burial.
