Blessing CEO Arraigned by EFCC Over Alleged ₦36M Property Fraud

Nollywood’s gossip circles are buzzing after social media influencer and relationship therapist Blessing CEO, real name Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, was arraigned by the EFCC at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The outspoken influencer appeared before Justice D.I. Dipeolu on Friday facing a 2-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing. According to the EFCC, Blessing CEO allegedly collected ₦36 million from one Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye between July 14-17, 2024, under the guise of leasing a 6-bedroom duplex in Lekki.

In court, Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges. Her legal team revealed she has already refunded ₦24 million and is working to settle the balance, hoping for an out-of-court resolution. But the EFCC shut down the request, stating the case is between the Federal Government and the defendant.
