"I Took Kolu to Help Him" - Portable Denies Ritual Allegations

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has broken his silence on allegations linking him to rituals, insisting that his decision to bring singer Kolu closer to him was out of goodwill and not for any diabolical purpose.

The Zazoo Zeh crooner made this known during a recent chat with fans, after social media went buzzing with claims that he was using Kolu for ritual purposes.

According to Portable, he only took Kolu in to help him and give him a platform to shine.

He also said people should stop spreading lies about him.

“I carry Kolu from Abuja go Ogun State. Some people say I wan carry am do money r!tual, but I told them I want to help him. Kolu too like women… Kolu is older than me. When I dey trend I gained a lot and I’m still trending. See the gain in my body and my face. You no see say I don come back with my hairstyle. Na lawyer say make I no dey carry am come court”

The singer, who is known for his outspoken nature, added that Nigerians are too quick to attach "ritual" to any successful person helping others. He maintained that his brand is built on hustle, not charms.

Fans have had mixed reactions. While some defended Portable and praised him for giving upcoming artists a chance, others said the allegations came up because of his past controversies.

This is not the first time the Ogun-born street-hop star will be addressing rumors. Portable has been in the news several times this year for his rants, beefs, and bold takes on the music industry.
