With so much expectations from the super eagles. Nigerians are still struggling to believe the outcome of yesterday's match.

Well, Mikel said they did their best that it was not meant to be. While Messi said the Nigerian team was tough.

I can just understand Nigerian's frustration and disappointment. Imagine the town be paraded with Nigerian jersey, someone coming into Nigeria for the first time will think everyone is a footballer. Such a beautiful sight. I believe with time, Nigerians will adjust.

Though some celebrities reacted to the defeat with good faith.

"Father lord once again you have shown us not to trust in the predictions of pigs, cats and even octopuses. Our players played really well and am proud of them still. Our country has been through a lot in recent times. But we must preserve and look to the future. We are the future and its in our hands," Don Jazzy.
