A whole building burnt down because firefighters lack fuel

A whole building was burnt down in Taiwo road by Abeokuta Street, this happened around 5pm on Saturday in Kaduna town.

Electric appliances, cooking utensils and gas for cooking were sold in the building that burnt down.

It happened that a customer bought a pressing iron and wanted it tested. In the process of testing their was an electric spark because someone else was refilling a gas.

When the building was on fire, they sent for firefighters. They couldn't come because they said they lack fuel. To crown it all, the building has no fire extinguisher.

The whole building burnt down and they couldn't save anything. Though no life was lost.
