WAPA, Egbeda Centre holds it's Fashion Day

Fashion Students

The Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty alleviation Vocational Training and Skills Acquisition Centre under Lagos State Government popularly known as WAPA  is a program that has empowered a lot of people over the years.

They have many Centres all over Lagos State where people are trained on different types of skills.

Fashion department of the Egbeda Centre held their fashion day on November 28, 2019.

The event which was well attended by a lot of people and dignitaries was colourful and beautiful.

 There were exhibition from fashion different department and other departments. Ranging from clothes, throw pillows, hat weavon among others.

The fashion Students creative was seen in their projects and  as they walked down the runway, their clothes was a master piece.

Different types of designs were worn by the students, both traditional Nigeria clothes and English clothes which were beautifully done and well tailor.

The program which is a year program, and tuition fee free, has a lot to offer. They are taught male, female and children clothes. Other home accessories like foot mat, Centre rug and duvet are taught.

The program aim to empower individuals, it is also a place of self discovery, an eye-opener and enlightenment.
