Coronavirus: Simi says religious heads to start being responsible people
As reality is setting in for Nigerians of how real coronavirus is, with one dead from it, Atiku Abubakar son, who tested positive, Nigerians are beginning to react.
Simi, a Nigerian singer has taken to the social media to be cautious, to learn from the mistakes of other countries and for religious heads to start being responsible people.
Simi wrote, "Also I realize our parents/grandparents are stubborn. The people that need to be most protected are the most resistance. But beg them to stay at home. Share as much information/picture with them. Tell them they're at higher risk."
"If they insist on going to church show the story of church abroad where the virus spread. These religious heads need to start being more responsive people. Respect you- ACT LIKE YOU DESERVE THE RESPECT. Be compassionate and tell your followers to stay home. They listen to you!! The country has been shut down for less trivial things before etc.... Some how we got by. Now let's do it, for something way more important for our lives.
"We've been governing ourselves on a lot of things that matters for a while now. We have no choice but to continue please."
