Seun Kuti says there should not be lockdown if government can not provide for the people




Oluseun Anikulapo kuti popularly known as Seun Kuti is the youngest son of the famous afrobeat legend. The musician also actively participated in the Occupy Nigeria protests against the fuel subsidy removal policy. Again Seun gave voice to his disappointments to the way people are treated.

He took to the social media on Friday, April 17 to talk about the suffering the people of Nigeria are undergoing. He advocates that there should not be lockdown if the government can not provide security and economy stimulus package for the people.

According to him, without economy stimulus package people are dying of hunger and insecurity. He has called on the government to do something about it.

Seun wrote,"Why are we on lockdown if Govt cannot provide security for D people, economy stimulus package (not food relief way una family sef no fit chop), no ppc for health workers? Hunger and insecurity dey kill us o oga Govt."
