I Know The Meaning Of Poverty_ Dele Momodu

The CEO of Ovation International, Dele Momodu took to his Twitter handle to appreciate all those that were there for him when he lost his father. He also acknowledge that he knows the meaning of poverty. After the father died, things were no longer rosy for the young Momodu, little did he know this, when he took this picture with his father. Dele Momodu shared his throwback picture.

The media mogul lost his father at the age of 13, relying on his mother and relatives for support was the only thing he could do then. Because the little money the mother made was not enough.

"When I took this picture at age 10, in 1970, little did I envisage the humongous challenges ahead of me. Three years later, my dad died and my world nosedived. That's why I know the meaning of poverty. I'm grateful to all those who have touched me since then in various ways," he tweeted.

See how his fans reacted as they shared their own stories too;

I like this picture, but I like the story behind it even more. There you were, at age 10. Everything was fine until death took your hero unexpectedly. 50 years later, see how you have turned to become a hero to many. It was rough at the start but you were tough. Thank you Sir
