Agbezin Bamidele George is a contemporary artist whose works will stand the test of time. He was born in Lagos State by Togolese and Nigerian parents on July 27, 1973. Lives and works in Lagos State.
He studied Fine and applied Art at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.
With over 2 decades of practice art
He has participated in several group exhibitions home and abroad. He is a member of the Society of Nigeria Artist (SNA), Art Clique, Fortnight En Plein group of Artist and ArtZero.
A contemporary painter, his works addresses the every day occurrences. He uses bright colored patterns to depict his work which is now his signature.
Artist Statement
My art continually evolves, unsatisfied, remaining static is a sure end to creative development circles. It speaks in different languages, you find in my art yet same being, same art, same spirit, constantly trying new ways, an unending quest to give back to nature.
