'I Hawked Plantain And Gala To See Myself Through The University' - Uche Maduagwu Discloses

 

Nigerian actor, Uche Maduagwu has disclosed how he was able to finish his degree. He stated he hawked plantain and gala to  see himself through the university.

The controversial Nollywood actor, took to his Instagram page to reveal how it was tough for him in the university. He has to resort to selling of snacks to survive. He also sold pure water on campus at Ebonyi state University, and still graduated with flying colours.

During his NYSC service, he sold recharge cards at the orientation card in Lagos. That year he was voted the best corp member 2010/2011.

Uche wrote, 

I hawked plantain and gala to see myself through the university. It was not easy, while my fellow student were carrying girlfriend and boyfriend about I was busy selling pure water for State University, sociology and anthropology department will remember this, but I graduated with flying colors, sold recharge cards during my NYSC orientation camp in Lagos and was voted the best Corp member 2010/2011. So if you don't not know my story, no judge me, I just want my story to inspire someone out there, education is power, do not allow anything stop you from getting it."
