Obi Cubana Breaks Silence On Cubana Chief Priest’s Arrest By Anti-graft Agency, EFCC

 

Popular socialite and businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, has reacted to the arrest of his friend and former employee, celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu aka Cubana Chief Priest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of money laundering and tax fraud. He was arrested at the Lagos Airport on Thursday.

Obi Cubana was also arrested by EFCC some months ago over the same allegations of money laundering and tax fraud.

The club owner took to his Instagram page to show support for Cubana Chief Priest.

He wrote,

"Courage brother, do not stumble......

Though your path be dark as night....

There's a star to guide the humble....

Recall, Cubana Chief Priest also showed support for Obi Cubana when he was arrested by EFCC stating that the Igbos are used to the unfair and unjust treatment from the federal government.

"What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. We Igbos are used to this, Mbakala ga ama ozo mana ozo ga ala. #FreeObiCubana.”
