"No Nigerian Needs More Than ₦100k Week Except Kidnappers And Bandits" – Reno Omokri

Bestselling author and former aide to ex president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has shown his support for the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) policy which placed restrictions on cash withdrawals beginning Jan 9.

Few days ago, Central Bank of Nigeria announced a limited weekly cash withdrawals over the counter to N100,000 for individuals and N500,000 for organisations regardless of their size.

Reno Omokri stated that there's no Nigerian that needs more than ₦100k cash weekly except kidnappers, bandits and ladies that ask men for money.

He wrote,

“There is no Nigerian that needs more than ₦100k cash weekly. Other than paying bus conductor or buying groceries, everything can be done cashless. It is kidnappers, bandits and sexual bandits (urgent 2k girls) who are fighting this policy using political godfathers."
