People Now Ready To Be Remanded To Get Free Food After The Cost Of Feeding Inmates Was Revealed By The Government

 

People are now ready and willing to be put behind bars in order to get free daily meal since the announcement of Rauf Aregbesola stating the cost of feeding Nigerian inmates.

Nigeria’s Minister of Interior, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, a week ago disclosed that the federal government spends over N1million annually to feed each of the inmates kept in correction facilities across the country.

It was revealed that the federal government spends N83.333, every month for sundry needs, which also includes feeding, each inmate.

Popular Twitter influencer, @segalink has revealed that people are willing to do whatever it takes, just to be remand to get daily free food

"I don’t know why some people’s perception of Ogbeni Aregbesola’s (Minister of Interior) announcement of the cost of feeding inmates at the correctional facility is as though every prisoner has a key to the custodial’s pantry."
