“Thank God Buhari Didn’t Call Hilda Baci” – Shehu Sani

 

 

Author and human rights activist, Shehu Sani has hinted on what would have happened if the president of Nigerian, Muhammadu Buhari had called Hilda Baci  during the competition. 

Hilda Baci had on Monday broken the Guinness World Record for ‘longest cooking time’ by an individual with 96 hours of cooking and counting.

Reacting to Hilda’s achievement, Senator Sani shared a post on his Twitter page saying Nigerians should thank God that President Muhammadu Buhari didn't call Hilda before she broke the record. 

“Nigerians should thank God that the President didn’t call Hilda on the phone before her win.”

Hilda Baci surpassed the Indian chef, Lata Tandon, who set a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019 to become the new “Guinness World Record” holder. After Hilda Baci broke Tandon's record,  Tandon showed her support for Hilda by wishing her the best. 

She wrote,
