Idris Elba has launched his record label and signed the first artist

Idris Elba who is an English actor, musician, producer and a DJ at night, just launched his own record label and signed the first artist.

Elba is a DJ under the Moniker DJ Big Driis (or Big Driis the Londoner). In 2016, he was named in the Time 100 list of the most influential people in the world.

Elba has worked with many stars like Jay-Z, Diddy, K Michelle, Mr Hudson, Nigerian Dbanj and Phyno

On Tuesday, ldris Elba unveiled his project: 7Wallace Music, and in addition he signed James BKS, his first artist. James is a French artist.

Elba had this to say to Billboard, "James is a rare find..Its a huge move for 7Wallace, a small indie label"
