lbrahim El-Zakzaky's trial has put Kaduna State in standstill

The trial of the leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky has brought Kaduna to a standstill, this is as a result of fear that their could be a problem.

The busy Ahmadu Bello Way, which is in the heart Kaduna has become quiet with no activities going on. You can hardly see movement of vehicles or people. Its almost deserted.

Most workers refused to go to their various working places for fear. Most schools told their students and staffs not to come to school.

The security is so tight. Police and army at strategic places well armed, and ready for anything. Our correspondent could not get very close. They gave nobody room to get close.

Even though the case has been adjourned to August 2, 2018. People are still very careful.

One of the resident in Ahmad Bello Way said, "My husband has gone to work. But my children were told not to come to the school today by the proprietor"
