Nigerians Under Attack Again In South Africa

Nigerians living in South Africa are presently under attack at Mpumalamga
area of the country.

According to a report by the Nation, this has been confirmed by Nigerian
Citizens South Africa and Nigeria,s Consular General to South Africa and 
are on their way to Witbank in Mpumalanga province to gather more
information on the attack
At the time of the report, the cause of the attack was unknown.

This fresh attack comes a few week after President Muhammadu Buhari
visited South Africa and called for the protection of Nigerians and other
foreign nationals living in the country.

President Cyril Ramaphosa in response repeatedly apologised over the
attacks and reiterated his government's "deep regret at the incidents of
public violence."

The last xenophobic attack brought about 600 Nigerians home in early
September in Johannesburg and the second batch who were 315 in number
returned later.
