Brave lifeguard rescued a family of five

At festive period it'S a time when people flock places for fun and
relaxation, yesterday celebration day, Christmas was no exception, parent
took their children to the amusement parks and other places like the
beach to enjoy the day.

A family of five were almost lost yesterday, December 25, 2019, at the
Sultan beach which is located at Km 67, Seme Border express way,
Badagry,lagos State.

According to an eye witness, a particular woman took her four children to
the water to have fun and before anyone knew there was a strong wave and
the family of five would have been lost.

Moji said "Earlier on, when we came one of the lifeguard came and told us that the
ocean is angry and nobody should step too deep into the water. He also
said that once its 4:00PM the wave becomes stronger.

"Just 15 minutes after 4 o'clock, was when this incident happened. The
woman and her four children were standing on the seashore having fun when
all of a sudden a strong wave came and another and yet another and the
mother of the four children became helpless."

"The lifeguard on seeing what was happening jumped into the water to save
them. He called out to the other lifeguard but he was to shock to
respond. The brave lifeguard did not wait for the other lifeguard but
jumped into action to save the family. He was able to save the children
first by holding their hands two by two, two children with the right hand
and the other two children with the left hand, he then pinned their
mother down with his leg. After the rescue the woman collasped twice. She
was in a real shock."
