There are times the body craves for sugary foods, we have become addicted
to sugar and we can't help ourselves. It has become an habit. And you
keep telling yourself, this is the last time I will be taking this. But
it's just another wish, like a new year resolution.
Well! There are simple tricks that will reduce that craving and teach
your body to adjust.

Protein in every meal
A great way to go. Eating of protein foods will help to balance your
blood sugar and keeps you full for a long time. For example eating of egg
makes you full and not giving you room to crave for sugar. So add a
boiled egg or in any form you like to eat it to your meal.

Fruits
Loaded with lots of vitamins and minerals, so good to the body. And if at
all you are craving for sugar, there you go. Go for natural sugar, fruits
serve this purpose. Sweet and tasty, they give you just that feel. Juicy
pineapple to munch, yummy banana, I can go on and on. Anytime you have
the craving, eat fruits to your satisfaction.

Vegetable
Fresh and healthy vegetable, there is actually no law against them. Can
be eaten raw or cooked. Many varieties with differents benefits. Better
to eat them than something with no nutritional benefits. Whatever  food
you want to eat add lots of vegetable to it. Or when that craving arises
grab a plate of salad or a crunchy carrot and you will be surprise at the
wonder.

Nuts
Rich in fat and protein, a study in the U.S have found consistent proof
that people who eat nuts are healthy, especially when it comes to their
heart. Nuts contains unsaturated fats because of this they are save to
consume and gives a feeling of fullness. They are good snacks instead of
sugary snacks, nut like walnut is good to go;

Eat at the right time
One of the factors why people develop craving for sugar is that they eat
at the wrong time. When they do, they eat wrong. At that point in time
you are very hungry and just grap any available food. Always eat at the
right time, don't wait until you are very hungry.

Sleep well
When you don't sleep well, the hormones that regulates your appetite are
suppressed, this makes it hard for your body to interpret hunger signal,
and in the process it makes you eat even when you don't need to eat. This
because you wake up feeling hungry and tired, the next thing you grap
something to give you energy, that is sugar. It is advisable to sleep
well to avoid unnecessary cravings.
