Ingredients
- Beef
- Assorted meat
- Stock fish
- Chicken meat
- Snail meat
- Smoked fish
- Palm oil
- Shrimp
- Onions
- Vegetable (ugwu)
- Cayenne pepper
- Seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Ground melon seed
Preparation
- Wash your meats, put on fire, add seasoning, onions and salt, boil until soft and tender. Also boil your stockfish until it's soft.
- Pound onions in a mortal and add the ground egusi seed to get a thick paste.
- Put pot on the fire, pour palm oil, allow to be hot then fry the egusi paste, make sure to turn so has not to egusi burnt.
- Pour in the broth and shredded vegetable leaves to the fried egusi.
- Pour in the cooked ingredients, shrimp, sliced onion, seasoning, Cayenne pepper and salt to taste. Leave on fire for the next 5minutes.
- Serve with pounded yam.
