No woman wants to go through the nasty experience of a "smelling vagina|". Vaginal odour is commonly caused by inflammation in the area of vagina affected or as a result of infection. Every vaginal has a unique smell but when it becomes too strong and has a fishy foul smell,  offensive smell, metallic smell, burning sensation when you urinate or "greenish discharge" then something is wrong.

Vagina smell can be as a result of many factors. The PH of a healthy vagina is between 3.5_ 4.5. So when its below or above this range something is really wrong.

The food you eat

The food you eat add to your vaginal smell. Because you are what you eat. The food we eat contribute to the way we smell generally. Foods that have strong smell like garlic, onion, cabbage, fish. For instance, its a common knowledge that when one takes fresh garlic, it smell can be found on the breath even if you don't chew the garlic. Likewise, the smell can be reflected in the vaginal. It is also believed that foods like strawberry and pineapple gives nice fragrance to the vagina because of their strong and sweet flavour.

Sweat


Sweat can cause vaginal odour. Its normal for the body to sweat because its a way of the body cooling down. Just like sweat at the armpit, the vagina also sweat because its hairy, lots of sweat gland and presence of bacterial.

Poor personal hygiene

The overall personal hygiene of a person is very important. Therefore if the body is not well taken care of, there will be a problem. If don't practice good hygiene, there is every tendency that your vaginal will smell. Your vaginal should be well cleansed.

Baking Soda

Because of high level of alkalinity of baking soda, it be used to balance the PH of the body. The vagina is acidic in nature, so when baking soda is applied, it neutralizes the place. Baking soda can be use as a wash to keep the vaginal clean.



Tumeric

Using "tumeric" internally and externally helps in the treatment of vaginal odour. Tumeric is rich in curcumin which. Also the combination of turmeric and milk offers dryness of the vaginal and non smelling vagina.


Coconut oil

Its an effective oil in the treatment of vaginal odour because of its antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. In the treatment of vaginal odour, there is a need to use unrefined coconut oil. Coconut oil is powerful and effective in the treatment of vaginal odour.


Citrus fruit

Citrus fruits do have ability of fighting infections and vaginal smell. They contain vitamin C. It help to improve your immune system. With a a strong immune system, your can fight infection. Therefore, eating citrus fruits like orange, "lemon" are important and help to fight "bacterials" like urinary tract infection.


Neem leaf

Neem leaf is a powerful herb for the treatment of vaginal odour. It has antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral property. That makes it effective in the treatment of vaginal odour.
