Man Sent To Jail For Beating Wife With Cutlass

Man is currently in jail after using cutlass to beat his wife inflicting her with severe wounds on the body. 

A Twitter user identified simply as @small_madam as narrated how a man assaulted his wife with cutlass in Edo State. 

According to the narrator, the wife visited the hospital after suffering from wounds which she sustained after her husband used a cutlass to beat wife. On seeing the degree of the wound, the manager of the hospital called women affairs and after the husband was convicted he was sent to prison. 

Even though the man has been sent to jail for assaulting his wife, the wife is insisting on divorce.

"This woman came to the hospital with severe cuts on her body and she said it was her husband that beat her with a cutlass. My manager called women affairs and the husband is currently in jail. The woman wants a divorce too. "
